Setting a secret

Terminal

npx tessera secrets set STRIPE_KEY sk_live_… --env productionnpx tessera secrets list --env production

TypeScript

export default fn(async ({ secrets }) => {  const stripe = new Stripe(secrets.STRIPE_KEY)})

Secrets are encrypted at rest, scoped to one environment and never included in logs.

Branches inherit secrets from the environment they were created from unless you override them.
