An environment is a fully isolated copy of your project, with its own database, API keys, secrets and function deployments. Every project starts with development and production.

Default environments

Switching environments

npx tessera env listnpx tessera env use staging

Production is protected

Schema changes reach production only through a reviewed migration. tessera push never targets production directly.
