Invoke function

Run a deployed function and return its result.

/v1/functions/{name}/invoke

Runs the function synchronously. Set async: true to queue it and get a run ID back immediately.

Authorizations

Bearer token. Use a server key or a user access token: Bearer <token>.

The function name, for example welcome-email.

Request body

Passed to the function as input.

Queue the run instead of waiting for it.

Response fields

ID of the run.

The function's return value, when not async.

Execution time.

Errors

401unauthorized

The token is missing, expired or revoked.

404not_found

No function exists with this ID in the environment.

504function_timeout

The function ran longer than its timeout.
